My son just got back home from his cleft palette surgery, which he had yesterday. He's doing VERY well! Needless to say, after that and Christmas, the comic is behind. I was hoping to end the Christmas Special by New Years, but I might just be a slacker and get back on it afterwards :(

 I'm part of a comic book message board community called www.thecomicforums.com, which the Geek Syndicate podcast is part of.

A beloved member of the community, Eric Martin, passed away on November 18th. Eric was a prominent member of the community, and someone I always enjoyed interacting with. He will be greatly missed.

Eric's brother Michael proveded Eric's PayPal account information and asked that it be passed it along to all who are interested in donating for his daughter Gracie. Michael has access to this account and will put the money raised into a savings account for her.
